Hi, my name is Rita Meese and I am the artist at "Little Darlins" Nursery. I have been making dolls for many years, and I take time with each baby to "bring it to life". Every one of my "Little Darlins" is a true one of a kind.

Emily started out as a Berenguer Pouty Face doll. This is called a "character face", and has been discontinued. It is extremely hard to find. This is the only one I have ever had!! I carefully disassembled her and removed all her factory paint. She was given a nice warm bubblebath to remove any residue. Then the fun began.

Many hours were spent getting this little girls complexion just right. She has subtle veining, and blushing in all the right places. This was done with Genesis heat set paints, which are baked right into the vinyl and will never peel or chip.

Emily was given a nice baby manicure and pedicure. Her nails, as well as her mouth, have been glossed and sealed. Her lips have just a bit of a moist look.

I gently opened Emilys' nose so she can "breathe". I painted on barely t eyebrows, and gave her eyelashes to match her hair. She has beautifull green masterpiece eyes.

Emily has beautiful soft wispy blonde baby hair. It has been micro-rooted several strands at a time with a very high quality mohair. It has been sealed inside with waterproof glue, so her hair can be gently washed and styled .I recommend a baby comb and brush. This is a very time consuming process, but well worth it for the results. Her hair feels so real, and appears to be growing right out of her scalp.

Emily has full limbs, and a fully poseable cloth body. She has been weighted and stuffed with polyfill and feels so cuddly you won't want to put her down. T is no sand in any of my dolls.

Emily is wearing a blue denim jumper with EEyore on the front. The bottom of the jumper is trimmed with a ruffle of white fabric covered with red hearts, which matches her onesie. She is also wearing white socks and a diaper. She has a white headband , a crystal name bracelet, and will be wrapped in her blanket for her trip home. In addition, she will have a birth certificate. Emily wears newborn to 3 month clothing, and can wear just about anything since she has full limbs.

I have taken great pleasure in reborning this sweet little girl. I hope to find her a good home.

This is no longer a play toy, but a true one of a kind collectible.
