I have been making dolls for many years, and I take time with each baby to "bring it to life". Every one of my "Little Darlins" is a true one of a kind. Molly started out as a Berenguer Sleeping Snookie doll . I believe this sculpt is discontinued. This face is one of the most popular among reborners and collectors, and you can see why. She is adorable!!I checked her over for blemishes. She was given a nice warm bubblebath to remove any residue. Then the fun began. Many hours were spent getting this little girls complexion just right. She has subtle veining, and blushing in all the right places. This was done with Genesis heat set paints, which are baked right into the vinyl and will never peel or chip. Molly was given a baby manicure and pedicure. Her nails, as well as her mouth, have been glossed and sealed. Her lips have just a bit of a moist look. I gently opened Mollys' nose so she can "breathe". I painted on barely t eyebrows, and handrooted eyelashes to match her hair. Molly has wispy dark brown baby hair.
