It features a very wide top surface with a unique large back splash. This back splash has two lovely scroll carvings on its sides and a plate rack groove on its base to display your favorite plates. The main top surface and the back splash top surface are both in very good condition considering the server's age, circa 1940! It has three solid and smooth operating drawers with a felt divider for your cutlery needs in the center drawer, and the fronts have an attractive raised carving design with gorgeous pulls. This large sideboard has three spacious cabinets all having convenient removable shelves. Each of their doors opens smoothly and each has a lock mechanism with a key for each door to keep your valuable items safely. Both the left and right cabinet's doors feature amazing strap hinges on their smooth surfaces. And on the centered cabinet's recessed inlaid door t is a gorgeous detailed carved artwork design. Overall, considering its age, this sideboard is in excellent cosmetic and structural condition and it is very heavy, rock solid strong and sturdy.
