Up for bid is my Oldest Spider-man comic, Amazing Spider-man #18, from 1964. I purchased this comic around 1991 or so from Want List comics. I am selling it to raise money to get out of debt. At the time of purchase, it was $190.00 and was graded by Want list as Near Mint back then and hasn't been out of its mylar sleeve more than four times since then.I have included the original letter that accompanied the comic in scanned form. I will also include it with the comic upon purchase.As told in the letter, t is a printer's defect on the cover that can be seen in pictures. Even though it was purchased as near mint, I would have to call it very fine. I'm just being honest. I have included both scans and pictures for you to look over. None were touched up in any way. The actual pictures are shot next to a photographer's grey card so that if you want to you can see I have not altered the pictures in any way. T is a smell of old comic. I have no idea if t is supposed to be.Since I paid $190.00 for it so long ago, I am going to start bidding at $250.00 plus $15.00 shipping and handling. It will be packaged very well. If you wish to add insurance, let me know and I will add coverage up to the winning bid price.Now, just so we are clear, Please do not bid if you are not serious!!!!
