STELLAR CGC 9.8 AMAZING SPIDERMAN #361 FROM 1992! This superb specimen was strictly graded by CGC and boasts incredible eye appeal! THIS WAS AN UNREAD INVESTOR-COPY, WHICH WE SUBMITTED RECENTLY, AND IT PEGGED OUT AT NM/MT, TOPPING THE CGC CENSUS! NO COPY OF THIS KEY BOOK HAS EVER GRADED HIGHER! This book is well known to fans and dealers alike, as the hot Marvel boasting THE VERY FIRST APPEARANCE OF CARNAGE, continuing into the next two issues, and concluding in #363 (which we also have in 9.8 condition, in another current auction!) In this part, VENOM AND THE ALL-NEW VILLAIN CARNAGE ARE TEAMED-UP IN MORTAL COMBAT AGAINST SPIDERMAN! You have to love the memorable Mark Bagley cover, which has CARNAGE AND SPIDEY IN CLOSE-UP against a black background, and was a huge hit with many fans from day one. Plus, this book sold-out in shops across America, instantly upon it's release, and it quickly went to a second printing. Many of these first prints have minor printing glitches, which is why genuine 9.8 copies have always been few and far between. This great cover is a treat to behold when the cover is unblemished by such pesky detractors as creases and spine-stresses. It has the timeless artwork of Bagley inside the issue, as well. In addition, t are flaws on the scanner glass, and it makes it look like t are lines or scratches running vertically up through the right side, which is NOT present on the comic or CGC holder, just on our scanner!
