Amazing Spiderman #110 NM? 1972 Bronze Age Marvel with LOTS of Pictures! Description Please note: The background of all the pictures is bright white posterboard , and the effect of the light which makes the background look grey or blue also changes the color of the book, please judge accordingly! the Amazing Spiderman #110 July 1972 " the BIRTH of the GIBBON " 1st appearance of the Gibbon I believe this book has never been read, and that it is a nearly perfect copy, a solid 9.2 NM- or better. I have been told that no more than 1%-2% of books this old grade out to an 8.5 or better, and this should be one of them. The cover inks are bright and sharp with high gloss and no fading. There are no marks in the cover field. There are no corner bends or folds, minor or otherwise. The cover and all pages, including the centerfold, are solidly attached at both staples and the bright staples are clean, very tight, perfectly folded, and right in the center line of the fold. There is only very modest color change to pages, and the paper is supple and fresh looking. The spine is very tight and flat, there is no rolled spine. There are five, maybe six, very tiny spine stress marks. Two of them just barely break color, and they are hard to spot when the book is in your hands, but they do show in the picture. There is some very minor, hardly noticeable scuffing in the blue border near the center of the spine and along the bottom, it very faintly shows in the spine pictures, and does not show in the bottom pictures but some is there. There are two very small stress marks on the back cover that are near to the spine, but not on it, they are very hard to see when the book is in the hand, and do not show at all in the pictures. no tears, no tape, no writing, no fingerprints can be seen, no subscription crease or fold, no missing pieces, pages or coupons, no rubber stamp imprints, no water stains. 2011 GD 2.0 $12 VG 4.0 $24 FN 6.0 $36 VF 8.0 $87 VF/NM 9.0 $164 NM- 9.2 $240 This was bagged and boarded about twenty years ago. I try to provide the best pictures I can, so you can grade this book. That means I will show, or tell you about, all the flaws I can, and thus I will probably get a lower final price than if I just showed you two pictures. But it will be a fair price, because you will see, or know, what you are bidding on , and hopefully we'll both be happy. Any questions, please ask! Please Note: The first two images are from a flatbed scanner, and scanners can sometimes make the book appear to be a bit whiter than it actually is. All the digital photographs are taken against a bright white poster board, which is just as white and bright as the background of this ad, so the closer the background of a picture is to bright white, the closer the image is to the way the book actually looks when it is in your hands- and if some images look different, or an odd color, please judge them against the other images. If you see a bluish tint, or darker shading on the background, or in fact anything other than pure white, that is a result of the lighting and it affects the book the same way it affects the background. Flash or fluorescent light can add a bluish cast to the image, and natural light adds a greyish look; it is very hard to get enough light.
