AMAZING SPIDERMAN 700 1:200 STEVE DITKO COVER VARIANT ! 1963 SERIES MARVEL NM/NM+ This auction - Steve Ditko Amazing Fantasy cover variant - (W) Dan Slott (A) Richard Elson (CA) Steve Ditko! This cover was originally going to be the cover to Amazing Fantasy 15 until Jack Kirby's cover came along.... and the rest is history - anyway - this is the story out there - maybe it's tru and maybe it's not... but either way - this cover was one of the possibilities for the original AF15 cover (just with Amazing Fantasy written on cover instead of Amazing Spiderman as it is now)/ This is a HOT book and very hard to come by and it's only going to get harder to get and cost even more... remember the 667 Dell 'Otto variant - bet U wish U got that one as soon as it came out!
