Up for sale is this The Amazing Spiderman issue #9 February of 1964 titled "The Defeat of Spider-Man" and the introduction of Electro! We hope that the many pictures we took of the corners, edges, spine, front and back covers give you an idea of how great this 47 year old comic book is. There are some flaws with this comic book that we want to point out that may or may not be seen in the pics. There is some white (stress) showing on the spine. The book is also off folded and has the staples not centered exactly on the spine. The front of the book has no surface creases, only surrounding the edges and has retained alot of the original bold coloring. As you can see the top portion of the front page has minor roughness. The inside pages are intact with nicely centered and colorful print. Some of the inside pages have very smalls printing holes at the same place on each at the bottom. A few pages have a very minor right corner fold. The back page is very clean and has a very slight rip in the upper left hand corner.(See Photo) Both the front and back covers have retained the original bold color and the gloss of being newly issued.
