AMAZING OLD UZBEK UNUSUAL HANDMADE SILK PENDANTS Search Since ancient times Uzbek embroidery played an important role in culture and developing of Uzbek people. Each piece of embroidery even small pieces had their own required destination like Uzbek colourful celebrations and traditional weddings. Every Uzbek woman made an embroidery, embroidery was solely the craft of women. Each piece of Silk handmade embroidery is a real masterpiece, which has been made with heart and love. I'm proud of to offer the gorgeous handmade pendants, a single part of a Bugjama (wedding cover). The pendants were a part of decorations of a bride's dowry. In the bottom of the pendant t are multicolor hand-woven silk tassels. Natural silk. The length is about 24 inches or 60 cm. The condition is good. Circa: 1960 - 70. The pendants made in Surhandarya region, Uzbekistan.. Add these wonderful pendants to your textile collection.
