This is a beautiful old cookie jar from American Bisque. It is commonly referred to as "Granny" and she is a favorite among collectors. She can be found in either green or yellow and as you can see, this one is yellow. She measures 12 3/4" tall and about 8" wide. I have photographed the bottom to show the distinctive runners used by American Bisque and the USA mark on the bottom edge of the jar. This jar does have a hairline crack about 1 1/2" long on the front that I have shown in the last photo. It has a couple small flea bites around the inner edge that does not show when the lid is on. This is a beautiful jar that would make a great addition to your collection. Due to the size and weight of the cookie jars there is additional shipping charges.
