American Brilliant Period Cut Crystal Glass larger version Open Sugar & Creamer Set This American Brilliant cut period crystal cut glass open sugar and creamer set is probably from around the turn of the century. The set fluoresces yellow under black light. Note: T is current controversy among glass enthusiasts with black light testing but it is commonly accepted that American Brilliant glass fluoresces yellow. No mark or pattern found. The glass cuts are very deep with hobstar, floral, fan and multiple geometric including crosshatched patterns.T is sawtooth edging all around the top of both pieces. T is one very small flea bite on the bottom of the creamer which you often see on these earlier pieces but not noticeable. I cannot see any other flaw.They reflect light beautifully and as hard as I tried, the pictures do not show how beautiful these really are. This set came from the estate of a collector who operated a fine collectibles and antiques store at one time.
