NO RESERVE! This is a magnificent old decanter, approximately 9" tall with stopper, up to 3 5/8" square. Heavy clear crystal, weighs nearly 4 lbs. Square shape with truncated corners yielding an eight-paneled neck. Solid stopper with a starburst design on top and ribbed sides. Elaborately cut designs on all sides of the decanter in classic American Brilliant style. No manufacturer's marks. Presumably dates to the late 19th century. In very good condition, however there is a small chip on the bottom rim and two minute fleabites, one on the edge of the decanter and another one on the edge of the stopper. Both flaws are quite hard to notice. The bottom of the stopper (inside the decanter) has a small chip and some roughness (see picture). - good luck. All domestic shipments are by USPS Priority Mail, which includes insurance up to a value of $50. For international shipments please note that there are two alternatives if the shipping weight is below 4 lbs. First Class Mail is less expensive, but takes a little longer and can not be insured. International Priority Mail includes some insurance.
