Please view & bid on any of our items with confidence! #110 ~ Highly Detailed & Ornate ~ Antique American Brilliant Hand Cut Glass ~ Crystal EXTRA-LARGE Serving Platter Bowl No Reserve ~WOW~ This is a gorgeous, highly decorated piece! We recently acquired this Vintage item from a very old East Coast estate. This auction is for a beautifully hand cut Lead Crystal Bowl from the American Brilliant Period and features a super detailed and extra ornate multi-cut design - t is hardly any surface left uncut on this impressive piece !!! This unusually unique & Extra-Large Square Platter measures 10 ¼" square (long & wide) and is 1 ½" tall/deep! It is extremely fancy with exceptionally sharp edges and crisp cuts; the blank is bright and crystal water clear. The design features a large center 5-Pointed Star made up by snowflake fields and mini-check filled triangles; and is surrounded by a dozen Hobstars, fan cuts and more -- absolutely gorgeous!! The top edge is round sawtooth carved with a slight wave pattern. This huge Plate/Platter is in Excellent overall condition ; t hardly any of the usual tiny nicks or fleabites and only one slightly nicked/chipped tooth -- please see supersized pics below for exact detail. Because of the Extraordinary amount of decoration and cutting on this piece, this makes this overall beauty very collectible and it displays extremely well. We estimate this Antique Bowl to have been produced around the turn of the century, 1920. All of the Hand Cut Crystal we sell has been Black Light tested and is absolutely authentic!! This lovely piece is being offered with no reserve!! The crystal has a GREAT "lasting-ping" sound and lots of color and sparkle.
