Folks, ... AT NO RESERVE is a great water carafe in a wonderful pattern. Pitkins & Brooks designed and patented this pattern....and it was first show in their 1905 catalog. It is pictured also in the P & B 1908 catalog on Page 23 and we will show you that image. As you may know P & P had several grades of their own glass and 'P & B Grade' was the top of their line. This pattern has their Top Of The Line status.(Remember when Montgomery-Ward had good, better, best in their catalogs? - same deal.) The carafe measures 8 1/2" in height and weighs 2 3/4th pounds. The condition is excellent with no imperfections found. It was advertised as a 'very rich pattern at a moderate cost'. The globe carafe was priced at $12.50. Considered a very successful pattern the 'sells so well we will be continually adding to it'. Elaborately cut on the finest grade of glass, highly polished, this carafe is in perfect condition. T are no chips, cracks or cloudiness. Among the images is one of the base that shows the cleanliness of the bottle as well as the depth of the miters on the outside of the bottle. Folks, if you are going to invest in cut glass then bid on pieces put on eBay by sellers who proudly say they are members of the American Cut Glass Association and who subscribe to their code of ethics.
