We recently acquired this Vintage item from a very old East Coast estate. This auction is for a beautifully hand cut Lead Crystal Hair Receiver from the American Brilliant Period and features a super detailed and extra ornate multi-cut hobstar design!!! This unusual and unique Hair Receiver measures about 4 ¼" in diameter at the top, 2 ½" in diameter at the base, and about 2 ¾" talltall/deep! It is extremely fancy with exceptionally sharp edges and very deep cuts; the blank is bright and crystal water clear. The design features a large hobstar cut on the lid, and smaller hobstars all around the bowl base-- absolutely gorgeous!! This large dresser piece is in Excellent overall condition with no damage ; and even hardly any of the usual tiny slivers or fleabites -- please see supersized pics below for exact detail. Because of the Extraordinary amount of decoration and cutting on this piece, this makes this overall beauty very collectible and it displays extremely well. We estimate this Antique piece to have been produced around the turn of the century, 1900.
