* * * FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION * * * Feast your eyes on this very rare and beautiful water set, which was cut in the Leona Pattern and Leona Variant, by the Taylor Brothers Cut Glass Company of Philadelpia, Pennsylvania, circa 1902-1904. The unusual and most pleasing Leona Pattern was a very short-lived pattern and the, overall, cutting precision and polishing quality are quite excellent. The large, jug-type pitcher was cut on a lovely , unusual-shaped blank with quality features including: a Honey-Comb Cut, Applied Handle, Fluted Tap, and sensational Zipper-Cut Neck! I detect no cracks, nicks, scratches, or glass sickness of any kind, and you may bid with complete confidence. The glass is bright and clear and t is a wonderful, clear ring, when tapped. Weighing in at an impressive 5.2 pounds, this gorgeous, 9" tall, pitcher will be the highlight of anyone's collection. T is much more, however. In addition, t are eight (8) matching water tumblers, cut in the same Leona Pattern. The tumblers are also unusually shaped, in that, they are barrel-shaped, a style of tumbler which was only cut by a handful of cut glass manufacturers, including the Taylor Brothers Glass Company. The water tumblers stand 4" high, and the eight of them, together, weigh an additional 6 pounds. Don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity to purchase a very rare, complete, and drop-dead gorgeous cut glass water set! I ship to the United States and Canada via USPS Priority Mail, the same day as payment is received. Bidder is solely responsible for all shipping and insurance costs.
