Department of the Interior cover signed by Commissioner Binger Hermann 1901. The interior portion is a document stating a land bounty of 160 acres for military service. Soldier was Alfred Mc Duff of the Georgia Militia. Document was signed multiple times. United States President Andrew Johnson twice along with his secretary Frank Cowan and another of J.W. Granger. I am not a professional signature authenticator so I have no idea if Andrew Johnson actually signed it or if his secretary did. Document was signed August 10th 1868. Estate found. Antique paper, item has wear and discoloration from age/storage. I have many other items listed so please check out my other items !
