The American Conflict A History Of The Great Rebellion in two volumes by Horace Greeley. Published by O D Case. 1864 volume one and 1866 volume 2. Leather bound First Edition set that includes the very rare map that was included with the set. The Map of The Seat of the War To Accompany The American Conflict is 28 by 38 inches. While there is some seperation at the folds the map is still in one piece. With a linen back this map will frame well. Hand colored, published by O D Case 1866, and engraved by Oliver J Stuart. I have found another example of this set with the map in three pieces at a much higher asking price than this. The books have wear to the leather. Boards are attached with leather broken the the spine. Foxing more extreme to Title and first few pages being light throughout the rest. 648 and 742 pages. Pages are overall tight. The books are very good and the intact complete map is quite rare. Insured Priority shipping included in price for U S locations.
