American D4-T “Salt Shaker” Hi-Z Dynamic Microphone - Harp/Vocal Mic (TESTED) Presented for auction is one (1) Tested and Working and Great Sounding Vintage American D4 T “Salt Shaker” Hi-Z Dynamic Microphone - A versatile mic for Instrument (Harp) and Vocal purposes. Cable 16 ft with connectors Its all TESTED , it sounds great and is Ready To Use! - Microphone has been tested for sound using the mic input of a classic Fisher amplifier using JBL speakers. The sound of this microphone is powerful, loud and dirty, perfect for harp players . This American D4T microphone was found original in non-working condition, but with a change of element and some TLC, it has become a great sounding microphone again. This mic had a previous owner that had tried to make obvious repairs on a damaged element. I had an mint element on the shelve from a vintage Electro-Voice (EV) Model EM 25 B1 Microphone that is nearly perfect and with only some minor fitting (all internals are pictured). This mic now LOOKS GREAT & SOUNDS again! See pictures of ohm meter test showing 1205 ohms on the 2K scale !!! Also, I am including a used US made 18' Belden cable with an Amphenol 75-MC1F mic connector to a Switchcraft ¼ jack . All the connections have been tested and repaired where needed.
