This is a STUNNING & VERY RARE American Art Glass lamp/shade. Made in Southern New Jersey by the Durand glass factory. One of the finest in North American at its time. It is a large Antique glass shade which was a factory amde lamp. I have listed as the last photo the only other example i was able to find that matched this one. Except it is in Red glass. The one I have was meant to be sitting on a metal lamp base. Like the example. It is a gorgeou iridescent green exterior cased over white then inside it is lined with beautiful Durand gold aurene or favrile. A piece just as beautiful as any Steuben or Tiffany glass of the same period. It has a wonderful ribbed design to the surface which creates a variable shade of green effect. It has a trumpet form with large lobbs on the bottom. It measures an incredible 10" tall by 6-1/4" at the widest. The fitter measures just a hair over 3-1/8" in diameter. So it could be mounted a few different ways. See condition below. Being sold without reserve & a $9.99 start. Have fun bidding. Condition: It is in good condition. The body of the glass as well as the surface of the glass is excellent & beautiful. The fitter or bottom mounting ring. Has three chips on the edge ot it. Which when mounted should dissapear. Minor wear other than that in a few places. Please read all terms and info below before read more
