You are bidding on a total of two (2) coins. Winning bidder receives both coins. Purchased directly from the United States Mint I offer to you the following beautiful coins: 2008 American Eagle Proof 1 ounce coin 2010 American Eagle Proof 1 ounce coinWith the political uncertainty (both domestically and internationally) it is now more important than ever to not only hedge your bets but also have a desirable commodity with which you can barter for goods and materials. Of course I can not guarantee that the underlying price of gold will continue to rise but as inflation continues to rise, the price per ounce of gold seems assured to rise. Please keep in mind that the value of these collectable PROOF coins is much higher per ounce than plain bullion. If the price per ounce for bullion is $1,500, the value of these coins has to be higher (I estimate $1,750 per coin). I am happy to keep both coins if my reserve price is not met but could use the money to help family members affected by the recession. I may consider selling these coins individually but will not violate ebay's rules - please do not ask me to sell to you in any way that circumvents ebay. I only accept Paypal. I am happy to take and send more pictures to any serious buyers. Admittedly, I am not a professional cameraman so if the pictures are not perfect, apologies. The coins have never been touched or removed from the beautiful display cases (sent directly from the Mint and stored in a safe, temperature controlled location along with my comic books and collection of baseball cards). and God bless!
