Here is my well loved and played American Fender Strat. I have had this guitar since 1998 and loved playing it but i have largely stopped playing now and so it is time for some one else to enjoy it. The neck is the most comfortable i have played but as you can see from the pictures there is some wear on the maple. For me this hasn't affected the playing or the sound. I have changed the pick ups to Van Zandt Blues (see below) which have made the sound even better - these really intensify the fender sounds. It also has a 25db boost control which can be accessed through the middle tone control- this really takes the sounds to another level especially with good fender amps. The neck is maple and has a satin feel to it. The guitar comes with a hard case (not a fender case), which has one of the buckles missing and a leather strap and leads. Blues Pickup Built to capture the blues sound This pickup is attack sensitive and responds to very light pick attack, as well as having a lot of snap with a heavy attack. Can be mellow or bright depending on the style of play.
