American Flyer 20535 “Pony Express” UnionPacific Passenger Set from 1959. This desirable set includes all the individualboxes, set box, transformer & paperwork. It also includes the set box shipping spacer. This set has been played with carefully. It has some small marks here & there but overall it is very clean. The yellow & gray paint along with the red striping are consistent on every piece. The individual boxes are square & weren’t opened & closed a lot. The set box did its job protecting everything & shows moderate wear & tear. If not satisfied for any reason please contact me within fourteen days for a complete refund. UPS Ground shipping will be $25.00 in the lower 48 states only. Excess shipping charges of $2.00 or more will be refunded. Good luck if you decide to bid and thanks for looking.

21925 &21925-1 UP Diesels are in beautiful condition with some very, very light paint wear on the rivet detail. The power unit has suffered a few scrapes in one front corner of the nose & a few small chips where the trucks have come in contact with the shell. Both units have their orig. horns & nose decals. The dummy unit ringing bell feature operates as intended.

The engine boxes are square, straight & have bold colors with no missing flaps.

24837 UP Star Dust Combine Passenger Car matches the diesel units in paint appearance. The gray roof, yellow sides & red striping are clean & crisp. There are a few pin head paint chips on the raised detail on each side. The lower gray skirt on one side has a few paint rubs. The sheet metal chassis is nice & clean.

24838 UP Dream Cloud Coach Passenger Car has great paint retention as well. Again, a few very, very small paint chips on the raised detail on each side. The sheet metal chassis is nice & clean also.

The boxes for the combine & coach cars are solid & square with great color. The combine box has a missing tuck flap on the non description end of the box. The coach box has a torn knuckle coupler restraint flap on the description end of the box.

24839 UP Columbia River Vista Dome Passenger Car has a bold, bright paint appearance to match. There are a few paint rubs on the gray roof on the raised ribs. The sides exhibit a few larger paint chips to the raised detail then the other cars mentioned. The lower gray skirts have a paint rub or two on both sides. The sheet metal floor is also very clean.

24840 UP Moon Glow Observation Passenger Car with the same great paint characteristics as the rest of the set. There is one small scratch on the smooth rear portion of the roof. Some very small paint rubs to the raised side detail like the combine & coach. Both lower gray skirts & around the rear tail have a few paint rub spots. The drumhead is intact with no crack in the seam. The sheet metal chassis is nice & clean.

The boxes for the vista dome & observation cars are just as nice & uniform as all the others. There are no missing flaps on either of the boxes.

The 20535 set box is square but dirty & dingy. The bottom half of the box is fine. One of the side panels on the top had really bad moisture damage & was partially missing. The same panel from another set box was fitted into the existing box to complete it. The paperwork is missing the blue order sheet & a Del Monte pineapple cardboard billboard. The 26690 track terminal is in the correct envelope. The 22030 transformer is in the correct box also. There is no uncoupler or boxed curve track. The cardboard shipping spacer still surviving in the set box shows the care & handling this set was given.
