American Flyer 25049 Walking Brakeman D&RGW Box Car An American Flyer 25049 Denver & Rio Grand Western Walking Brakeman Cookie Box Car made from 1958 to 1960 in C-7 (Excellent) condition. This car came primarily in the 20430 Sunshine Special in 1958. It is a tough one to find in this condition. Even though it was available for separate sale through 1960, there aren't that many of them in relation to the 970 Seaboard Walking Brakeman box car. The catwalk ends are intact and the original rubber brakeman dashes back and forth as he should. Only the brake wheel has been replaced. It is a very clean piece that saw little use and is worthy of display in a collection. Use it if you must but keep in mind that it is over 50 years old. Please note that the 20430 set box had a step display with no individual boxes. Only separate sale 25049 box cars would have a box and it was not all that unusual for a dealer to sell one out of the set box. Thus there is no box and being sold as is. If you have any questions regarding any specifics, please do ask. It is the eBay way.
