American Flyer #290 4-6-2 Steam Engine & Tender Freight Train Set w Smoker S Up for your consideration is this very nice American Flyer #290 4-6-2 Steam Engine & Tender Freight Train Set w Smoker S *S gauge very sharp looking steam locomotive train set, this engine looks really nice but has paint flakes all over it, was repainted at one time but appears that is flaking off, tender repainted as well, no lettering or numbering on these. *This has a smoker however when I tested this it only hums, didn't run I'm sure it needs a good cleaning, sat for many years, it looks to be in good shape, thick diecast and metal tender. *Set comes with: *290 4-6-2 pacific diecast steam locomotive and metal tender. *American Flyer 639 yellow box car- just normal wear and a crack back by the ladder. *American Flyer 640 hopper car, missing a step. *Reading lighted interior 630 red caboose, has small chip on roof , piece still there on corner and missing a step.. *Shell silver tank car 625 with normal ware no damage. *Bunch of track, makes a nice large Oval. *This set has everything you need to set up and run except transformer and lock on, wiring. * A must have for any American Flyer train layout or collection.
