I am thinning out my collection and parting with duplicates and parts. Please carefully read the entire listing and inspect the photographs. I will be happy to answer any questions received in a timely manner. Up for auction is this top of the line American Flyer #3020 4-4-4 Green 20th Century Locomotive made about 1921-23. It is the version that provided a socket at the top end of the cab which would permit the car to car wire connection for lighting. Painted in green with yellow stamping and window detail. Couplers are intact. It is missing the reversing trip that should be in place behind the motor. Wheels are frozen so it can't be tested for operation. The part of the insulating fiber material that holds one end of one power pick up is broken off. No headlamp bulb present. The important horn and light castings on either end of the cab top are intact and not broken. Otherwise all original and complete. Normally would pull 2 or 3 Illini cars as the top of the line O gauge set in the early to mid 1920's. This example's condition is as follows: Roof is G+ (C5+) with scratches and scrapes mostly along the edges. Sides are VG (C6) to VG+ (C6+) with a few scratches, particularly around the window frames. Ends are VG(C6) to EX (C7) with a few nicks. Frame is VG+ (C6+). The leading and trailing pony trucks are about VG (C6) with a read more
