1946 322 Engine with New York Central Tender. 4-6-4 wheel combo with knuckle coupler. Boiler unit in engine and smoke unit and reverse in tender . Has been run on a short, test track in Feb. 2012 and ran. The paint and stamping on each are original, legible yet faded. The engine's paint is gently showing sign of wear. Handrails are all attached and undamaged. The paint on the tender shows more wear, especially on the one side. (Please refer to photos) No rust. NOTE: One step is broken off of rear of the tender. ***Buyer to pay $6.00 to cover the insurance for shipment.*** Vintage American Flyer Trains For sale from a collection by my father since his youth. All items have been stored in a clean, moisture free environment. He has kept them displayed in cabinet with plexiglass when not in use. They are always handled gently and have all worked and been in running condition. I have considered selling as a lot to an auction house but felt other collectors would better appreciate their value.
