is a very nice looking example of an American Flyer Postwar S gauge 350 Royal Blue 4-6-2 all-metal Pacific steam locomotive and tender. This is the earlier model that has real handrails, not the cheaper cast in ones. It is also very unusual in that the window on one side of the cab is solid, not cut out like all other ones I have seen. I don't know if this is a factory error, or an unusual variation, I am not a Flyer expert. Loco has great colors and graphics, not scratched up or playworn. Ran when I tested it. If you look closely (doesn't show in pictures), t is a ding in the pilot, beneath the boiler front on one side. It does not stand out (in fact I missed it the first time I looked at the engine), and the pilot is not broken, but I wanted to mention it. The tender body was taken off to re-solder the pickup wires. The tabs are all t but I did not bend them back because you can only bend them back and forth a few times before they break. In my opinion, it is better to just put the body on the frame and not bend them back. This loco looks better than most Royal Blues I have seen. Usually they are scratched and beat-up looking. Don't miss it! Plus $14.99 shipping & handling. Please ask and get satisfactory answers to all questions before bidding; sold as/is, no returns. Thanks for looking! USA Sales Only!
