American Flyer "S" - 490T Freight Set, w/OW, w/OB, 1950 This listing features a 490T Freight Set headed by a 300AC Atlantic Locomotive with its original wrapper and without smoke and choo-choo. The engine runs very well and the the handrails are all there as well as nice lettering on the tender and boiler. The engine is dirty and needs some cleaning. The original harness is there and undamaged. The Set comes with a 639 AF boxcar, a 640 hopper and a 638 caboose. The cars all are in excellent condition with no chips, rust or damage. The boxes are all there, but have no stamps and have varying degrees of damage with some tears and flaps missing. The wrapper for the engine has no stamp. The Set also includes (12) #702 curved track without its box. Track has some rust. Set comes with the original No. 1, 25 Watt transformer with original cord undamaged. The transformer works, but does not have original box. The 690 track terminal does not have its envelope and a 704 manual uncoupler is not in its envelope. Set does not have illustrated train book. The Set box is in poor condition with stained and ragged edges, and one corner seam is split. All flaps are intact. The stamped printing is clear and readable and the end label is intact.
