Here's another auction byLone Star Trains and Collectibles, Your Classic Era Train Headquarters! You are bidding on a nice American Flyer die cast flat car from the late 1940's. This one is heavy--a great car for your layout. What is even better is that this car was issued as a link coupler item, but since this car has been converted to KNUCKLE, you can enjoy this high quality car with your other knuckle coupler cars. It is all here and tracks well. All steps are present. The flat is the DARK gray painted version, and the print is still nice and crisp. The girder is a darker orange paint and has 627 on one side and American Flyer Lines on the other. There is some minor paint rub to the top of the girder . The girder is die cast as well and is held in place with metal straps. We have provided many supersizable pictures--take advantage of them and look at every detail before bidding.
