American Flyer 628 C&NW Flatcar with Logs An American Flyer 628 C&NW flatcar with six logs made from 1946 through 1953 in C-8 (Like New) condition. The 628 went through a number of changes from its first introduction in 1946 up to when the knuckle couplers were introduced in 1953. The one offered is the diecast metal flatcar from 1948 having the brass coupler weights. The couplers are free moving. The trucks also have the distinctly formed spring details. The logs are original with the formed metal tie straps. No rust whatsoever and worthy of display in a collection. Complete with its original box and tissue wrap. The box is in decent condition given its age at 62 years. The one end had flaps that were torn off and had to be taped back in place. Being sold as is. If you have any questions regarding any specifics, please do ask. It is the eBay way.
