is an American Flyer S Gauge Operating Car from Steve's Train City in Minnesota. We just received this one in a batch of Flyer from the original owners family. This is the Flyer #718 Green Mail Pickup Car with a Die Cast base and I believe it was made by Gilbert in 1948 through 1953. This one has a chip of plastic out of the side but really looks fairly nice even with that and operates sharply. It comes with all the embellishments - the button, track activation piece, instructions and the original mail bag which is broken on one handle. This car has a rarity rating of 2 on a scale of 5.
