American Flyer 740 Handcar An American Flyer 740 handcar made from 1953 to 1954 in C-6 (Very Good) condition. The handcar has the tabs on all four corners that usually break off. There are some minor nicks in the paint. One of the two shield decals is a reproduction replacement. The two rubber men appear to be original. There is no rust. It has been serviced and runs good. Comes with its box and the original instruction sheet. The box flap is missing at the other end. This is a consignment sale and being sold as is . If you have any questions regarding any specifics, please do ask. It is the eBay way. Per TCA grading standards: C-7 Excellent - all original minute scratches and paint nicks, no rust and no missing parts. No distortion of component parts. C-6 Very Good - Minor scratches and paint nicks, minor spots of surface rust, free of dents. May have minor parts replaced .
