You are bidding on an American Flyer 9000 B&O TOFC (Trailers on Flatcar) made in 1981 and 1983 for the HAR#1 Historic American Railroads set . I opened the box to verify its condition and to take pictures. The wheels reveal that it has been run, but not much at all. Like many American Flyer cars produced in the 1980s, one coupler doesn't spring open. The box is in Like New P-8 condition with no notations but signs of its age. The 2012 TM Price Guide lists it at $40 in C-10 condition. The 2013 Greenberg Guide lists it at $44.00. NOTE : I used a mirror in the picture to show both sides of the car. You are bidding on one car, not two, and only the car; the track and roadbed are not included.This item is being sold with no reserve.To avoid putting California bidders at a disadvantage, I pay sales tax out of the proceeds of all my sales; I consider it part of my overhead expense. I have hundreds of other American Flyer items for sale - engines, cars, track, switches, etc. - and Plasticville buildings and parts, most of which are listed on my website, .
