American Flyer 970 Seaboard Walking Brakeman Box Car An American Flyer 970 Seaboard walking brakeman box car in C-6 (Very Good) condition made from 1956 through 1957. There are some minor nicks and scratches, rub marks in the paint finish, and an area on the roof with some black residue (see photo). A new knap pad was installed to keep Smitty on the go. It has been checked and he moves back and forth when power is applied. The decals are original. The catwalk ends are complete. There is no rust and the knuckle couplers work good. It is a good operating piece. This is a consignment sale with no box and being sold as is . If you have any questions regarding any specifics, please do ask. It is the eBay way.
