You are bidding on one complete boxed set of American Flyer trains from 1959, set # 20510 the Rambler. This very collectable set has been in my collection for many years. Like so many of these trains they all have a story, this set was a Christmas gift to a young girl in 1959 and this may be the reason it did not get a lot of use or abuse. The Texas and Pacfic Baldwin and all the cars are in excellent condition all original rust free with no real noted flaws ( see below) the much sought after Great Northern box car is flawless. One thing to note this set came with the 24631 yellow caboose. The set box is a bit dirty and dry I would grade it about a five or six it is complete and intact but does show its age. I just looked the pieces over closely and would like to point out a couple of things first the Baldwin does not have step profusions, this was very common on the later Baldwins as the mold wore down, again it is not broken but came this way as new,also it does have the usual screw hole crack.It was running when packed away but I could not get it to run just now when track tested it will need to be serviced for regular layout use. The caboose has a small clean hairline crack at one corner.I will include the track that came with this set as a gift to the buyer if wanted just let me know at auctions end.
