is the rare American Flyer #5002T Circus set (1950)in the original box with the original accessories, including the unused circus cutouts. Engine and cars are in exceptionally nice condition and include: #353 red Circus Pacific engine, #649 yellow Circus coach with lights, and two #643 yellow-painted metal flatcars with original circus wagon loads. The circus engine has some light wear on the right upper corner of the tender and also in a small area in the coal load of the tender--otherwise a very clean original piece. The flat cars are in superb condition overall. The animals in the cages are: male lion, female lion, pelican, and zebra. The engine has the original corrugated wrapper, and the rolling stock also have original boxes. The coach box is intact with all flaps present, and the label has the word "circus" visible with the rest of the label difficult to read. The original paper wrapping for the coach car is with the box. The flatcar boxes both have labels which say "#643 Circus Flat Car" (one of the boxes is missing a tuck flap on one end). The circus cutouts have never been used. Some of the pieces have fallen away from the original cardboard, but are present. The original envelope, which has the assembly instructions, has some tears and a small hole near the bottom, but most of the printing is easily read. The set also includes: box of curved track, one #1 transformer in the original box with original instructions, fourteen track locks in the original envelope, 704 manual uncoupler, track terminal in original envelope, 24 original circus tickets, M2833 original assembly instructions for the circus loads, authorized service stations, and operating instructions. Set box has some wear but all flaps are present and importantly the label, which is partially torn, has the stamp which states, #5002T. Very rare with all of these items present.
