Up for auction today is an American Flyer complete, ready to run, train set with accessories. The grouping consists of the following items:an American Flyer Pacific style 4-6-2 steam engine and tender. This engine has an operating headlight, choo-choo sounds, and the smoke in tender feature. It runs great, changes direction smoothly and produces volumes of smoke whether the engine is running on the mainline or standing in the station (see pictures). The exterior of the engine and tender both have their original paint and logos. They would grade C-6 and with some tender care could easily be improved to C-7.Four American Flyer #625 black Shell tank cars. These cars are in nice condition with only minor playwear. They have the Gilbert link coupler system as do all of the cars in this grouping. There is absolutely no rust on the cars and they grade C-7.The American Flyer #632 Lehigh New England coal car. This car is in great condition and grades C-7.The American Flyer #633 Baltimore and Ohio Tuscan and white boxcar. The car shows some minor playwear and grades C-6.The American Flyer #630 Reading illuminated caboose. This is a great looking car with no breaks or damage. It grades C-7.The American Flyer #83 100 watt transformer. The transformer is rust free and has a nice pliable cord. It works great.The American Flyer #596 operating water
