You are bidding on one American Flyer S gauge late 1950's #23780 Gabe The Lamplighter, if you don't have this sought after accessory in your collection it has to be at the top of your list. Have you been waiting for a nice one? this may be it, it will grade excellent showing very little signs of use or handling, the only thing I see to report are a couple tiny rust spots starting to show up at the light fixture they show in the closeup of that area. It is 100% an untouched original and comes in its original box and with the original instructions. The box shows its age but remains square and complete to include the insert, all the top flaps are detached but are included the ID flap just came off when I was removing Gabe for the pictures, the box has the Chester Holly store stamp and as many of you know Chester was known world wide for his fantastic train collection his hobby store in Tampa Fl. is legendary. Push the button and watch Gabe climb the ladder reaching the top another button turns the lights on, push the third button and watch him slide back down the ladder. Don't miss this one. Many of the Flyer pieces I will be offering this week are from a friend of mines major Flyer collection his T.C. A. number dates to the early 1960's. I will be listing some very desirable uncommon Flyer trains in the next week or so please check back for some excellent plus to unused boxed trains and accessories to include Gabe The Lamplighter and a new boxed Corvette flat car in a very unusual color and others. Buyer to pay $15.00 for shipping . Have fun bidding.
