Of the 46 cars, 34 of them are new, mint in mint box "Lionel" manufactured AF cars purchased in 1990's new from retal store. Two are AF by Lionel without original box. Also inlcudes 7 repo AF boxes. Of the 46 freight cars, some highlights inlcude 22 box and/or hopper, 4 crane (24543,944,606, 49009), 2 searchlight, 6 tanker, 3 caboose (one with electric conductor), 636 cable load flatcar, tie car 25071, maintenance car 24546, 948 service car and 938 caboose. (6) Misc. engines Royal Blue (not sure of ti runs), Silver Bullet (restored shell with engine that did not run), Northwestern 355 (not sure if it runs). (6) Track 32 straight about twelve inches long and 22 curve maybe ten inches long, two manual switches. (7) Buildings and accessories include 2 metal building (one station non operating and a lookout type tower), a restored water tower, a VG+ original in box (has the box) 586F Wayside Station and 768 Oil Supply Depot, 2 Ex condition billboards (one with original box in ok condition), Lionel switch signal, AF booklets and misc. electrical on-off type small boxes.I purchased all these items over the years since late 1980's to mid 1990's in what was to be an operating layout. I never put anything together and never tried running a single engine (used or new). I believe all the steam engines are in very good operating condition but again I purchased these over the last 20 years and did not run them even when purchased. I know the Silver Bullet and Northwestern won't run as I purchased these for display and it's possible the Northwestern may be a simple repair. All the cars (new Lionel and used AF) are in beautiful condition and would rate all used as VG+ to Ex condition (with all new mint never used). SEE NOTE NUMBER 3 BELOW REGARDING ENGINES. RESERVE IS BASICALLY BUT IT NOW PRICE. Also included in this auction if you want to pickup this collection (I live in SC) is 11 "ShelveTrax" 6' long sections that may accomodate AF or Lionel or HO. I will not ship these and a separate cost for all eleven is less than half retail price at $50 for all eleven. I do accept Paypal but would like to discuss upon winning bid other option. In North or South Carolina I am willing to travel a reasonable distance to meet if purchased in these states. Otherwise, for shipping you should expect around $100 and if less (I doubt) I will refund and if more I will pay out of pocket. PLEASE DISREGARD EBAY SHIP NOTE AS RATE IS NOT SAME FOR ALL US. SHIPPING OUT WEST US AND WEST COAST US MAY COST MORE AND I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO QUOTE THIS SHIP COST ONCE BUYER DESTINATION IS DETERMINED. UPS OUT WEST IS COSTLY AND NOT SURE WITH USPS. Please email me with questions and if you want leave phone number and I will call to discuss. I reserve the right to end auction early as I am also listing on another site. This is the end of an extremely large toy collection I am selling off. I also have Franklin Mint, First Gear, and some Corgi and Dinky to sell and have a few Ebay auctions going on right now for these and if you are interested again email me and we can discuss a package deal. ADD: One more powered item I forgot to list is the 2 man orange "engine" that has the two men moving their arms up and down ...
