American Flyer S Gauge Electric Train Set #6-49600 "The Pony Express" Union Pacific. The set comes with a powered A and a Dummy A along with 4 cars. The diesel engines, Alco- A Powered and dummy unit. Union Pacific diesel locomotive. The unit number for the AA set is #6-48106. The features are: -Powered unit, electronic forward-neutral-reverse operation -Dual motors -Pullmor traction tires -Working headlight -Metal chassis -Die-Cast trucks -Operating knuckle couplers -8 wheel drive The non powered unit features are: -Die-Cast trucks -Operating knuckle coupler -Electronic diesel horn sound -Working headlight -Metal chassis I am listing the set as used because I believe that it has been tested, however, there were no marks on the powered pick up shoes. The passenger cars are as follows: 1-#6-48904 Union Pacific Combo car 1-#6-48905 Union Pacific passenger car 1-#6-48906 Union Pacific vista dome car 1-#6-48907 Union Pacific observation car All cars were still in their original plastic sleeves and boxes. The set box appears to have gotten damp on one end. No effect to contents. The set box is some what shop worn. The original receipt was in the box and it appears as though the set was purchased in 1990 and put into storage. Also included is a Flyer sheet explaning bulb replacement. A beautiful set for either operation
