Back in the 1970's & 80's, I collected American Flyer trains and had the hope of building a large operating layout. Towards the end of the 80's, it became necessary to postpone that dream, so I packed up the trains, planning to someday get back to it. Unfortunately, I've never been able to do that & it's obvious to me now due to health & financial issues, that I never will get the chance. I've had some other items up already and I'm gradually unpacking the trains to sell all but a few with sentimental value.
All the items listed were collected by me during the 1970's and 80'. All of the engines, unless noted were running when put away. They will all need a good cleaning & lube, as they've been packed since then. If I'm able to test an engine, I'll note that below.
This auction is for a bunch of misc parts, including a 355(I think) chassis and a 21160 shell that I added seperate piping details to.
Please look at the photos carefully and ask questions before you bid, as I'm not a store, so all sales are final. Bidders with less than 10 positive feedbacks MUST contact me before bidding.
Shipping for this item is: $10.00
A note about shipping. I will combine shipping, but please don't ask during the auction what it will be. Since we won't know which items you might win, I won't speculate on shipping.
I'll offer 2 options:
1) This is my preferred option...easiest for me & cheapest for you , so everybody wins. If you get more than 1 item, pay for all of them & pay the separate shipping. I will combine packaging, ship it & refund your paypal account the savings (no cost to you from paypal to do this). You'll get the most back because I do less screwing around & trips to the shipper.
2) second option: If you get more than one item, do the "Request a total" option. I'll either do a conservative estimate, or pack & do a trip to the shipper & get the actual cost, but add a bit for gas & time wasted. You'll probably save, but it'll be a bit less & take longer. If you're worried about getting a refund, check my feedback.
I'll do either way you want.
Payment is due within 3 days of auction end. I only accept regular paypal. (no e-checks of credit cards)
