Gilbert's American Flyer S Scale Vintage TrainThis vintage train set was wrapped and stored in Sept. of 1969. We are now going to eBay all parts off individually. We have not assembled and ran this set so all items are sold “as Found”. Opening all the boxes which contained these trains was like opening up a time capsule. Each piece will require some cleaning and detailing, individual issues will be noted if necessary. This auction is for: Model # 395 Item Name: (1) one made by Lionel Floodlight Tower 4 lights Production years: unknown Notes: good condition, some surface rust I have Americal Flyer train cars on other auctions As I understand it, Most collectors operate and most operators collect. The pure collector is concerned only with appearance and the pure operator mostly with operation. I am none of the above. I have acquired the train cars and track accessories and will attempt to do my best to accurately describe condition and take good photographs. I do not know what works and what does not, and have no way of testing. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, I will try to answer as best I can. I do not wish to clean these cars or to restore finish in any way as I am not an expert, and I do not want to take anything apart to look for hidden numbers. These cars and track, etc. have been used and then were stored for many, many years. They are mostly in the same general condition and according the scale below, they are in various stages of Fair, Good, and Very Good Mint: Brand new, absolutely unmarred, unused in original box Excellent: Minute scratches or nicks, no dents or rust Very Good: Few scratches, no dents or rust, exceptionally clean Good: Scratched, dirty, with small dents Fair: Well-scratched, chipped, dented, rusted or warped Poor: Badly damaged, use for parts Payment Info . Of course, Pay Pal is all that eBay will let me accept. If there is some other way you wish to pay, contact me. All auctions must be paid for within 3 days of Auction ending. Shipping information: Priority shipping will be 8.00 for most locations in the US. If you are out of the US (Canada) I think shipping will be the same, however it might take longer to get there. I will pack it as safely as I can, I recommend you get insurance; the cost of which is based of the selling price.
