Up for bid is an American Flyer S gauge 4-6-2 steam locomotive that has been around here for at least 50-60 years and was recently re-discovered. It is solid and quite heavy, no plastic on this one. The boiler nose and headlight assembly is missing, one of the front wheels has a chip out of it. I see no other breaks or obvious damage. The front truck is marked The American Flyer, Mfd by the A. C. Gilbert Co., New Haven, Conn. Although dusty and dirty, it has been in dry storage away from dampness. Since I have no way to test it, it sells as-is. Look carefully at the pictures to assess it's condition. ~ There's entirely too much stuff around here, I'm cleaning out ~ Please note: Shipping rate is for continental US only - other destinations may require additional charges.
