I'm not a model train collector but I did buy a box of odd items at an auction and this was one of the items. I would say it is in " Very Good to Excellent" condition. Northern Pacific Car #947. Everything seems to work fine, no damages or missing parts. Couplers and both sliding doors work well. It has about 90% of the original printing on the sides. It is used and therefore shows some wear, mostly in the form of rubs and scuffs which may be able to be polished out. It measures 7 3/4" long, plus couplings and is 2 3/4" high. The inside measurement between the wheels is 18mm. so I assume that it is S Gauge. Printed on the underside" American Flyer Mfg. by The A.C. GILBERT CO. NEW HAVEN CONN. U.S.A." Very clean, a couple of very small patches (1/4") of rust on undercarriage. Don't miss out! Shipping and handling to USA, $9.50 and Canada is $12.50 and overseas $20.50.
