499 new haven electronic whistle and 4 positionreverse unit. you are bidding on an original electronic whistle and 4 position reverse unit removed from a 499 new haven ep-5. AS FAR AS I CAN TELL, THESE PIECES ARE ALL WIRED TOGETHER AS THEY WERE ON THE ORIGINAL ENGINE. the reverse unit cycled perfectly but i have no way to test the whistle. the fingers on the reverse unit look excellent. the electronic unit is composed of 2 major connected parts, a speaker/horn and a red round tube that i believe is a capacitor and is identified with the printing pa12a820. it looks complete but i am not certain of this-see pictures. several of the colored wires that are connected to the reverse unit have been cut and will have to be striped and perhaps lengthened in order to be used. still a group of nice used parts if you know how to install and need them. i have several other american flyer items on ebay now and will combine shipping if possible. sold as is with no reserve. �
