Up for auction is the #748 American Flyer Overhead Pedestrian Bridge and a plastic Overhead Signal Tower . While not an American Flyer brand product, the signal tower makes a nice companion to the bridge. Again, this auction covers both of the items just described. The vintage ~1950 bridge shows play wear use and has some rust, the majority of which is hidden when assembled. Overall, the blue-gray paint has held up well over the years. It is designed to allow two tracks to comfortably run beneath it and would be a nice addition to your American Flyer collection and layout. The bridge is branded with the American Flyer identity. The signal tower is not powered by electricity, but a clever design that uses red, yellow, and green plastic gives a realistic look to the signals. It's a tighter fit than the bridge, but the signal tower allows two tracks to pass beneath it as well. This bridge is rated C-5 Good, because of the rust mentioned above, a few dings as well as a few minor bends in the metal. The signal is rated C-7 Excellent, with all the parts in tact. This gives the overall rating of C-6 Very Good on average. Please review photos for condition. Items sold "As Is". Buyer to pay by PayPal within 3 days of end of auction. U.S. shipments only. Thanks for your interest in this addition to your American Flyer accessories.
