This Type XX #401 whistling engine with a Type XII Vandy tender is from the mid to late 30s and has been meticulously restored to original operating condition. The whistle really toots when the red lever is pushed to "ON." Complete restoration includes all cosmetic, mechanical and electrical aspects of the engine. Paint is a five step process including acid bath, primer, two heat tempered color coats and a final clear coat for protection.
