PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING PRIOR TO BIDDING... Here is an odd one. It is a dark teal New Haven style electric loco on 9” frame with cast iron pilots. I thought certain at first, that this loco was restored. It is dark teal green with gold mask-painted windows and brass trim. If restored, it was done a long time ago as it shows appropriate age/dirt/light wear. Plate tabs are fine, none broken, and hollow rivets that hold pantograph and bell show no signs of being disturbed. It would be impossible to repaint loco without removing these. So this could be a factory original special. Cast headlight is new. Frame is dip-painted, body is spray painted. Motor ran when tested, wheels are original. Wire to headlight is missing. There is a small silver paint dot on roof. I have never seen this loco in this color before; so it is a rare one if original. Loco only in this auction, but the cars that came to us with this loco are also a special set. They are Potomac style 8” cars in tu-tone teal with Golden State plates.
