American Flyer - REA - Mail Bag Depot - New Haven Station - Special Limited Production Item Description The item up for "Bid" is a Custom Designed and Made Accessory for American Flyer S-Gauge Trains . It was designed to be a companion piece for the #718 or #918 New Haven Railway Express Agency Mail Pick-Up Baggage Car . It was constructed by the staff at and can be seen there as well. This item is a Special Design of the original REA - Mail Bag Depot - New Haven Station that we introduced in December 2010. This is a Limited Production of a Special Design of this accessory. The Standard Production accessory can be seen on our website to see its original paint color scheme. So, this is the only one of its kind with this paint scheme. This accessory is designed to be a receptacle for the Mail Bag that gets tossed out of the moving #718 or #918 New Haven Railway Express Agency Mail Pick-Up Baggage Car , as it passes by. We call it the "Railway Express Agency - Mail Bag Depot - New Haven Station - Special Limited Production" . It's constructed from wood and most parts have been screwed together. Only the REA Office Shanty (two wood pieces glued together) have been glued. The windows, door, and signage are all simulated and affixed to the structure . Adhesives were used to secure the roof to the shanty. This Special Limited Edition Mail Bag Depot also includes Front Steps at the Shanty Office , Yellow Barrel , and a Standing REA Postal Agent Male Figure . This would definitely be a great addition to any operator of American Flyer Trains . American Flyer never made any accessory to accompany these two New Haven Operating Baggage Cars and we feel this completes what these action cars can accomplish for realism.
